Dua During Hardship – The Supplication of Prophet Yunus (A.S.)

Hardship, fear, confusion and emotional pressure are part of every believer’s life. Islam offers a short but incredibly powerful dua that removes distress and brings immediate relief. Arabic

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
سُبْحَانَكَ
إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Transliteration

Lā ilāha illā Anta,
subḥānaka,
innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn.

Meaning

“There is no god except You;
Glory be to You;
Indeed, I am among the wrongdoers.”

The Prophet (s.a.v.) said:

“No Muslim recites the dua of Yunus when facing a hardship except that Allah will remove his difficulty.”
